The fashion landscape may be forever changed as Mayor Brandon Johnson, along with Choose Chicago interim CEO Rich Gamble, and Curio Co-founders Maggie Gillette & Ian Gerard, along with their partner entrepreneur John Leydon announced the new official Chicago Fashion Week to take place October 9 - 20, 2024!
Also joining the stellar speaker line-up to represent Chicago fashion talent was Curio alum fashion designer Sheila Rashid who will be a part of Chicago Fashion Week’s Opening Night fashion show produced by The Curio - “ A Celebration of Chicago Style.” In addition to the speakers we presented a signature look from 7 Chicago-based designers representing the wide array of talent this city boasts from RTW to streetwear, from avant-garde to evening wear. Participating designers: Sheila Rashid, Maria Pinto, Production Mode, Sujata Gazder, I am Studios , Koush & GREYVI.
